Tracy has developed and executed strategies that are intended to create and uphold a positive public image for clients. By working and forming relationships with various members of the media, government, and public, directors generate new business opportunities. She has hired and directed public relations specialists and other staff. This may include assigning activities and accounts, as well as approving and reviewing their work. In addition, to supervising public relations specialists and staff, she is the voice for Power of Purpose Radio. As Director of Public Relation, she has managed company and department goals/strategies.

She is hired by businesses to oversee their communications department. In this case, she acts as the businesses' representative during industry events and oversees all external communications activities. As such, she is responsible for researching public opinion and communicating with investors to enhance the businesses' reputation in the financial community. Other duties may include informing executives on market trends, calculating communications budgets, arranging interviews, and preparing speeches. 
She works with marketing and advertising managers to ensure advertising campaigns are in line with the company's image and goals. She often oversees crisis operations and work to repair a client’s damaged reputation after negative incidents has occurred. 

She supervises and coordinates the work of camera, lighting, design, and sound crew members. 

She executes, plans and orchestrates details such as framing, composition, camera movement, sound, and actor movement for each shot or scene. 

She direct live broadcasts, films and recordings, or non-broadcast programming for public entertainment or education. 

She confers with technical directors, managers, crew members, and writers to discuss details of production, such as photography, script, music, sets, and costumes. 

She compiles cue words and phrases and cue announcers, cast members, and technicians during performances.
She operates control consoles. 

She records commercials for later broadcast. 

She announces musical selections, station breaks, commercials, or public service information, and accept requests from listening audience. 

She studies background information to prepare for programs or interviews. 

She read news flashes to inform audiences of important events. 

She attends events interview artist, actors, producers, entrepreneurs and book signings.
